Mission #2: Dark Knights vs. Space Wolves - Draw

Commanders,

The final game of Mission #2 has finally came to a close. As it is the case with most Space Marine vs. Space Marine battles, there was a lot of shooting and punches thrown by both sides, but the Mark IV Battle suit makes for a tough nut to crack, which lends itself to long and highly contested conflicts.

A perfect example of this was the assault that took place between a Grey Hunter squad and (2) Dark Knight tactical squads that raged on for (4) complete turns! Both Commanders made numerous tactical moves, but neither could get a clear advantage over the other.

Everyone help me congratulate Wolf Lord Lars Morkai and Chapter Master Valandar Rex on their game well played.

Mission #2: Hive Fleet Nemesis vs. Witch Hunter Nemesis - Draw

Commanders,

Another Mission #2 is in the proverbial bug trap. Mother Miriam's Witch Hunter Inquisition took a serious beating... err... chewing from the relentless Tyranid horde of The Ancient Hungerer. Despite heavy casualties, the Sisters of Battle rallied behind the metallic skirts of the Dominion Squad, and squeezed out a Draw at the end of the game by destroying the only Nemesis scoring unit within range of their Home Objective.

Mission #2: Thousand Sons Defeats Tau Empire

Commanders,

Wow, what a hailstorm of fire and death in such a short period of time (3 turns). We have our first winner for Mission #2. Lieutenant Colonel Malus Interfectum lead his slow marching Thousand Sons across the board and took it to the Tau Empire, despite taking heavy casualties himself early on. The Aspiring Champions used their Bolts of Change to perfection, taking out both of General Ghostknife's troop transports in quick succession, then proceeded to slaughter his forces down to the last man.
