The first battle of Mission #1 has drawn to a close.
Football is often said to be, "a game of inches," and that certainly applies to 40K as well. Well in the case of this particular game, it came down to a SINGLE INCH!!! Had Nephililm's Noise Marines been able to get an inch closer to the objective, they would have won the game by claiming the objective. It doesn't get any closer than that.
This was the first time I've seen the destruction power of Inferno Bolters in action... let me tell you they really level the playing field in the hands of Fearless and Relentless troops.
I want to congratulate both Commander Akkon Sek and Lieutenant Colonel Malus Interfectum on a well fought battle!
